Hey there, friend! I’m Holly, and I’m so happy you’re here! I started Life on Southpointe Drive in March of 2017. I had loved reading blogs since about 2014, and thought that starting a blog was something I would enjoy doing but never really put that much thought into it until about a year ago.
Being a single mom with a full time job I honestly thought there really just isn’t enough time. Then I starting thinking more and more about how I really wanted to take the leap and give it a try. Then in October of 2016 my son and I moved into a new house that I wouldn’t consider a “fixer upper”, but was definitely outdated and not really fitting to my style (but had amazing curb appeal)!
After we moved is really when I decided I was going to do it…. I was going to start Life on Southpointe Drive! After all, I was organized (maybe a little type A), and loved having a vision for a room and seeing it come together. What better time than now when I knew I would have tons of home projects going on, and a blog would be the perfect way to share my journey!
You can always catch me doing something along the lines of organizing, decorating, bringing old furniture back to life, or crafting something. I’m truly passionate about creating a beautiful happy home and life and I want to motivate others to do the same!
