Here in Tennessee, we are officially into the fall season. The leaves are starting to fall, the weather is cooling down, and I’ve been busy decorating the new house for fall. This is the first fall season here at the new house and it’s been really fun to get out my fall decor and make the home cozy and warm. In order to document the the new house for this fall season, I made sure to capture a few shots of my home in its fall state.
Here Are a Few Other Fall Posts:
It’s been a change moving into the new house where everything is still a work in progress. It will be a while before I feel like everything is finished but decorating for fall has been fun and is already adding some warmth and character to the home. One of my favorite ways to decorate for fall is with faux stems.
Some other ways that I love adding cozy to my kitchen is through lighting. I use a lamp in my kitchen all year long, but I especially love a lamp in the kitchen during the cozy seasons. I’m a true believer in never turning on the “big” light and using lamps throughout my house. Another great option is to use a candle warmer lamp. Cozy vibe plus fall smells for the win!
I wasn’t sure how I was going to style my fall mantle this year, so I settled with simple and practical. We decided to kept it simple this year with a few candles in my favorite candle holders, faux stems, a concrete vase, and found the perfect art for my Frame TV.
I also kept the fall decor simple in my home office this year. I added natural looking fall stems in a classic cream vase to help pair together the natural color of the desk and rug. I have big plans for this office starting next year, but for the meantime I really like working in a clean minimal space.
When I do this tour again next year I plan for this room to look completely different. Until then, I hope you enjoyed my simple cozy fall home tour!
